This bodice pattern is adjustable in three places: front-lacing, side-lacing and shoulder-lacing. This lets you adjust the width of the bodice and the length as well, a popular feature for ladies whose weight tends to fluctuate. It features a deep neckline and the pointed front that are popular at Renaissance events. The top straps tie with a ribbon or lace. The center front and both sides are boned to give you the proper cone shape. This pattern lets you fit a variety of sizes and shapes with just a few bodices. Instructions are given to add optional bottom loop tabs, which gives the bodice a more elegant, finished look.
This Shirt/Chemise pattern lets you create the all-purpose undergarment worn by both men and women during the Renaissance. This garment was worn under bodices and doublets alike and differed principally in length: women wearing them longer, and men generally shorter so the bottom could tuck into the breeches. The two length options included are just below the hips, or just above the knee, but you may lengthen or shorten to your own taste. This pattern features three neckline options. You may choose a drawstring casing or cased elastic for a smooth neckline or drawstring-created ruffled neckline. The large sleeves are gathered into one of two options: a smooth banded cuff or a self ruffle. This garment is a relatively loose fitting garment and some people prefer their chemise looser than others. Choose the appropriate cutting line by comparing your bust/chest measurements to the size chart.
Skirts multi-sized for 23"-42" waist for 4 or 6 gore gathered skirts with drawstring, waist band, or elastic waist options. Goring gives extra fullness at bottom without added bunching at the waist for a sleeker look.
